Sky Filming visits the biomass power station site in Kent to collect progress data with drones for analysis by Danish construction company.

In 2016 The fund Copenhagen Infrastructure II and Burnmeister and Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) began work on a biomass fueled power and heat production site near Sandwich in Kent, not far from Ramsgate.

The project is part of the Kent Renewable Energy Partnership. Sky Filming’s team visited to site when the ground was broken to capture hi resolution drone images and 4K video clips of the site and its boundaries by the River Stour, which flows into the North Sea just a few miles away at Pegwell Bay.

As the build progress increases in momentum our drone surveys become more frequent and are used in meetings in Copenhagen in Denmark to discuss the progress of the build and oversee how it looks within the Kent landscape.

Renewable energy is very important for the future of our environment and is a subject of great interest to Sky Filming, so it is always a pleasure to use our drones to assist the management of another biomass power station.
